Scotti is a long time Los Angeles resident. In the past he’s played in bands as a drummer and singer, and taken photographs on the side. But that equation has flipped, and now Scotti is a photographer that occasionally hooks up with a band. He has taken photographs of landscapes, cityscapes, people, still life, and digital photographs. Looking through his portfolio you notice that Scotti has an eye for finding the unusual in everyday things which we might ordinarily take for granted. His photographs of buildings capture the curving lines and sweep of the architecture. One of his pictures that I found really amazing pushes the boundaries between photography and painting. Check out the photographs of Bisogno Scotti and you will find yourself on the ground floor of discovering an artist who’s broken through to a larger public consciousness.
